Aleksandr Krivoruchko is actively engaged in research, training, and the development of scientific personnel. He is one of the founders and the leader of the research area "Molecular and genetic control of the breeding process in animal husbandry" within the framework of the Russian state programme of import substitution and the introduction of modern genetic methods into the reproduction of highly productive farm animals. In 2021, Aleksandr Krivoruchko organised the first joint laboratory of molecular and genetic expertise in the North Caucasus region to address issues of confirming the breeding value of farm animals and poultry in accordance with the resolution of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
