About the Journal

Agrarian Bulletin of the North Caucasus is a peer-reviewed open-access scientific journal dedicated to sustainable agriculture and the advancement of innovative solutions for food security.

The North Caucasus ranks among Russia's most agriculturally diverse regions, encompassing arid steppes, humid subtropical zones, and high-altitude mountain ecosystems. This remarkable environmental heterogeneity provides a rich foundation for the development of new crop varieties and animal breeds, the design of adaptive cultivation technologies, and the creation of novel food and medicinal products suited to a wide range of climatic conditions.

The journal's scientific scope covers the full agri-production cycle. The editorial board welcomes both cutting-edge industrial approaches and scholarly investigations into traditional ethnic practices of animal husbandry, crop farming, and food processing, which play a vital role in preserving biodiversity and sustaining cultural landscapes within the region's multi-structural agricultural sector.

While the journal accepts research findings originating from any geographical area, it places particular emphasis on studies addressing the specific conditions of the North Caucasus, as well as comparative research conducted across the broader Caucasus region, taking into account its transboundary geopolitical position.

Manuscripts are submitted via the Journal’s online system, enabling the transparency of the editorial process.
